A scientific event organized by universities in Manabí, which seeks to be a space for national and international researchers to present the results of their work.

The International Congress on Information and Computer Technologies (CITIC) constitutes a highly relevant academic meeting, sponsored by the universities of Manabí. Its primary objective is to provide an ideal platform for both national and international researchers to disseminate the results of their research. The seventh edition of this congress, CITIC2024, is scheduled to take place at the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí, with the collaboration of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí (ULEAM) and the Universidad Técnica de Manabí (UTM) as co-organizers.

This year, the event will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online sessions, in order to broaden its reach and participation. It is worth noting that the works presented at CITIC2024 will be selected for inclusion in indexed publications, thus providing additional recognition to the quality of the research presented.
